Walleye Jigging Plastics

Better Bites Tackle uses a premium EZ stretch plastisol, which is durable for repeated toothy bites.  Unlike other stretch plastics, it will not react to other types of soft plastic baits when in storage.  Many of our baits are 2 colours (a laminate).  We do not use a lamination plate, which means both colours are injected hot at the same time into the mold.  This is preferred, as the plastic will be much less likely to split at the nose where the 2 colours meet.  

We carry two different types of (primarily) walleye jigging plastics: a minnow style bait, as well as a worm style bait.  Both are 4 inches in length.  

We have a constantly growing selection of colours!  We try to match our soft plastic colours to compliment our walleye jig colours.  Each bait is made in moderate sized batches, and although we try our best to remain consistent will be inherently unique.   The website photographs are a good representation of what to expect, though may not be identical to what you receive.  Some of the dyes used may 'bleed' over time, so we recommend storing similar colours together.  (e.g. white should not be stored with other colours such as red or chartreuse)  The stretch properties of this particular blend of plastics may over time release oils on the exterior of the plastic.  This is normal, and does not hinder the performance of the bait.
