Better Bites Tackle Deep Diving Body Baits

Tune your baits! It is normal for a bait to pull left or right - especially after a few fish catches.   Adjusting the eyelet on the bill will help you 'tune' your bait to run straight.  If it is pulling in one direction (left or right), slightly bend eyelet to opposite direction.  There are many YouTube videos available on tuning crankbaits.   Please be careful not to 'over-tune' the bait, as it can cause the seam to split along bill and water to fill the bait.

 We recommend storing these baits out of direct sunlight to keep colours vibrant longer, and to prolong the life of the clear coating.    Clear coatings tend to get brittle and can crack due to the natural expansion/contraction of air internally in the bait.

 Refer to a chart such as in 'Precision Trolling  App' to find the range of depth for the bait.  Baits that are run into the bottom might put too much pressure on the eyelet of the bill and split slightly, causing water to fill the bait.   The Deep Diving Body Baits we use dive similarly to a 'Bandit Deep Diving Crank Bait'.

Always inspect the condition of hooks and split rings after/before use to see if replacements are necessary.   These are normal items to wear over time.  To prolong their lifespan, dry out baits well  after use before storage, and always use a net to scoop fish from water instead of  'boat flipping' them in.
